May 11 - 17

All Classes are Running as Scheduled this Week.

Upcoming Closure Notes:

We will be closed for Memorial Day, Monday, May 25.

As scheduled, The dojo will be closed June 1 - 6 for a Rest Week.

NOTE: A reminder that our tuition rates are based on attending 4 classes per month. Of course, we encourage everyone to attend more than that.

Our attendance recommendations, per level:

  • Level 1 (4 - 6 classes per month)

  • Level 2 (4 - 6 classes per month)

  • Level 3 (5-7 classes per month)

  • Level 4 (6 -8 classes per month)

  • Level 5 (6-8 classes per month)

  • Level 6 (7-9 classes per month)

  • Level 7 (7-9 classes per month)

  • Level 8 (Varying)

If a student is attending less than our minimum recommendation, it will be hard for them to make progress in the program.

During a month, like June, when we have a scheduled Rest Week, we encourage everyone to look at their schedule ahead of time to ensure that (they or..) their karate student still attends (at least) the minimum class recommendations.

WEBSITE UPDATE UNDERWAY

I hired a professional designer to help update and modernize our website. You may notice some changes this week and next week as we begin to implement some of the updates. As with all new endeavors, there may be a few hiccups along the way. Thank you for your patience as we iron everything out.

Our updated site will be a one-stop site. Our current video hosting site, Thinkific, will be disabled and all videos and tutorials will be available via a secure portal on our website. If you have already paid for the annual video subscription fee ($45), your year will begin the first day that the videos are uploaded onto the site. I know the video tutorial process has been cumbersome - hence the website updates. If anyone who purchased a video membership prefers a refund until everything is in place, that is no problem. Just send me a quick email and I will get that right over to you.
